sweet paradise

This evening, i was extremely lucky enough to stumble across Beach Vintage's blog, where i found these adoring vintage images of sweets, and Victorian sweet shops.

The images are so carefree and relaxing to look at, i find myself getting lost in a little daydream when i look into the mix of candy coloured sweets, stocked so cutely in little vintage sweet tubs, and children excitingly picking out their favourites!

I'd really love to do a uni project based on the theme of vintage sweet shops, and feel i could go very over board with the theme, and relish in it like my heart depended on it! I really hope i get the opportunity to in my final two years.

I really wish there were more penny sweet shops around today that look similar to these pictures!
