stylist: camilla akrans

I found this stylist featured on Wildfox's website, and find her work truely stunning.
She styles her models to symbol and compliment the backgrounds of the photographs perfectly, using the correct balances of fabric choices, colour and texture.
Loving the third photograph down, where she uses a tassled waistcoat on the model as she lies down gracefully on the horse, whilst the tassels float down the side of the horse. It's so perfectly complimentative of the horses perfectly groomed mane, and really brings focus to the prints on the sand from the horses feet, reminding us, we're on a beach.

Stylist: Alex White

Alex Whites work always appears interesting with a particular setting, atmosphere and narrative being created in each photo, through the styling.
She styles the model's to each appear flawless and powerful, and then blurs the background ever so slightly, just enough so we can clearly distinguish the location, but cleverly, all focus is dominanltly placed on the model.
She would be an ideal stylist for a high street store advertising a collection based on an era or theme, as the brand could convey their style in the model's outfit, and the theme era within the background.

Lara Stone ♥

Beautiful shots of my new favourite model at the moment.
I adore the dusky, 1940's atmosphere created within these.

Into the Woods

Yet again Alice and Wonderland has found some amazing, stunning images, and i just have to blog them as i find them so beautiful, and find them especially relevant now autumn itself is drawing in on us!
Publication: W Magazine August 2007
Photographers: Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot
Stylist: Alex White

Photographer: David Titlow

Photographer David Titlow is so down to earth with his images, that the overall image from his photography is soft and very much natural, unlike many photoshopped images we are seeing today. His poses are very relaxed, and calming, with models posed in positions we would take to relax in.

This image in particular is my favourite.

Corrine Day inspiration

Inspiration from Corrine here? I think so. But i love it! Rebecca Willa Davis has taken a fresh, more autumn approach on Day's style by adding a stricter colour scheme of warm, golden, rusty colours, and the model is posing in a more posed, and active manner. Both are favourite photos of mine, but Corrine's capture of Moss above i think is truely stunning, and her natural beauty is let to do all the work, with the fairy lights emphasising her delicacy.

Wildfox Summer 2009. J'adore this!!!

I absolutly adore this catalogue by Wildfox, and it is definitly one of my all time favourites i have ever seen. Taking influence from Chanel in the font and usage of numbers, but adding a more urban, younger feel with a polaroid style picture. I especially love no. 25 breaking the rules, and how it is the only page to have the white strip go vertically, breaking the rules of the layout of the book. The overall feel is very kitsch, fun and entertaining to both look at and read. An absolute favourite. x x x x
