just another magazine...

Autumn is now upon us with this cherry coloured editorial from Another magazine.
Kate Moss in Galiano looks stunning in these bruised pinks and purples, and the volume is stunning- creating a dreamy, heavenly effect of floating pink.

Hope & Glory

I love how Kate Moss has made these images look 'real' and very urban. It's a photo of her perfected beauty mixed with the unperfect setting and costume she is seen in. I love the British punk feeling i gain from looking at these images, and how the props are used appropriatly to give each photograph the correct balance, making our eyes move around the photo to appreciate the full beauty of them.
Publication: British Vogue October 2008.

Corrine Day inspiration

Inspiration from Corrine here? I think so. But i love it! Rebecca Willa Davis has taken a fresh, more autumn approach on Day's style by adding a stricter colour scheme of warm, golden, rusty colours, and the model is posing in a more posed, and active manner. Both are favourite photos of mine, but Corrine's capture of Moss above i think is truely stunning, and her natural beauty is let to do all the work, with the fairy lights emphasising her delicacy.

Nick Knight

I've recently just become a fan of fashion photographer Nick Knight!

He is among the worlds most influential photographers, and has worked with numerous major magazine labels including;Vogue, Dazed and Confused and ID, to name a few. Alongside producing some amazign advertising projects for big name designers, such as Dior and Alexader McQueen.

What is noted about Nick Knight, and a main reason for my new found love in his work, is that he had challenged the conventioanl notions of beauty.

Although one of his main influential collaberation models is Kate Moss, Agyness' arch enemy, so the media call it, i will definitly be a close follower of him from now on.
