Gliiter, sparkles and Jewels

I've decided to include in my blog all things that make me happy.

This image makes me incredibly happy with its blend of jewels, glitter and pink fluff. The sparkle that glitter gives off twinkles like a cluster of stars in the sky, and instantly brightens up my day!

The eyes see it first: Expect to see color painted on the eyelids of the models strutting down the runway this week for Spring/Summer NY Fashion Week 2010.

Spring 2010 is all about bold saturation, a pop of bruised plum, navy and emerald. Aiming for the traditional smokey eye, but with more colour, not the traditional grey or black.

This fall, colour is seen all the rave too. Eyes and lips can be seen thick with texture and lots of tone. And once spring hits our doorsteps, lips are taken down a notch, to more of a neutral colour, allowing the focal point of the face to be the bejewelled-hued peepers.

My favourite will be the plum.

These images are gorgeous representations of how we should all see autumn. Autumn's not all about the clocks turning back, and summer evenings become short and dull. Autumn is the chance to wrap up warm and cosy and go for walks in the countryside and take some time to appreciate the beauty that this month brings to our environment.

Personally, after our summer this year, i can't wait for the autumn atmosphere to arrive!

Can a photographer who photographed The Muppets really pull of such stunning, magical and enchanting images as shown above? The answer is a very big yes.

Bruno Dayan is my treasure find of the day with these absolutly STUNNING photos i found of his website!

His mixing of complimenting colours and a washout finish give them that magical feeling. And i'm loving the effect of raindrops on the camera lense in one of the top pictures.

Vogue have picked up on them, Grazia have took note on them... Pepperpink is the hot, new place to purchase classic pieces of jewellery to stock up in layers, to envy any magpie out there. I'm especially fond of their rings collection they have to offer, as i'm a big fan of collecting rings of all styles, vintage, pearls, brass, ring watches... I must own at least 30 by now!
