Vogue Italia September 09 presents...

Autumn is now upon us, dark nights are here, leaves are falling off the trees, and Christmas theatre plays are being advertised. Vogue Italia catches the season so perfectly in one of my favourite editorials yet!!

The colours are amazing, bright but yet so deep, sealing in the autumn atmosphere.

What are your thoughts on this editorial, and which front cover did you buy? Mine was the second one!

Autumn is now upon us with this cherry coloured editorial from Another magazine.

Kate Moss in Galiano looks stunning in these bruised pinks and purples, and the volume is stunning- creating a dreamy, heavenly effect of floating pink.

These images are gorgeous representations of how we should all see autumn. Autumn's not all about the clocks turning back, and summer evenings become short and dull. Autumn is the chance to wrap up warm and cosy and go for walks in the countryside and take some time to appreciate the beauty that this month brings to our environment.

Personally, after our summer this year, i can't wait for the autumn atmosphere to arrive!

Mulberry a/w 2009

This photo was originally supposed to be used as a net for capturing the new suede boots expected of the upcoming collection.

But i couldn't help but notice the lookbook shown at the bottom. I think it's such a unique and different approach to what Mulberry usually take. Using beetles as a patterened background to which they layer they're bruised purple text in the signature font.

I think the idea behidn using beetles is to convey a collection of deep, rich colours next season, proving to be fragile gem pieces, bursting with energy from within. Great symbolism for an autumn/ winter approach Mulberry!

Into the Woods

Yet again Alice and Wonderland has found some amazing, stunning images, and i just have to blog them as i find them so beautiful, and find them especially relevant now autumn itself is drawing in on us!

Corrine Day inspiration

Inspiration from Corrine here? I think so. But i love it! Rebecca Willa Davis has taken a fresh, more autumn approach on Day's style by adding a stricter colour scheme of warm, golden, rusty colours, and the model is posing in a more posed, and active manner. Both are favourite photos of mine, but Corrine's capture of Moss above i think is truely stunning, and her natural beauty is let to do all the work, with the fairy lights emphasising her delicacy.

Stella A/W 09

Reality v.s Whimsical. Stella brings in our favourite Disney characters into her advert to make us think twice about harming the enviornment and its wildlife when we purchase our fashion pieces.

I really adore how she manages to capture the cartoons so well with the real animals that feature in this advert, and still manages to make it look professional.
