Nylon

I find this May 2009 edition of Nylon absolutly amazing! If this was sat on a shelf with all the other high fashion magazines, this would most definitly steal the limelight for me! I'm definitly going to try and recreate this and warm up my photoshop skills once again. It manages to use all rainbow colours in a quirky and not tacky way, whilst creating a fun, upbeat and summer image.

This edition from Feb. 2007 is so beautiful. I love the mixture of hand written additons to typed text, and the stencil font used creates a more delicate and pure contrast to the punk style boots Sienna is seen wearing. The colours are perfect for a Valentine edition.

Wonderland Cover Edits

I've been given a summer task to re-create a magazine cover of my choice, and think that these Wonderland edits would be a great challenge for me to take on.

Great inspiration for a quirky magazine spread.

Wonderland Issue 17.
I adore this image from dirtyblonde, i think if i was doing a uni project, i'd love to create a page layout with ua washout polaroid layout, similar to this, but just a singular strip down the left hand side, expressing theprojects essence.

Stella A/W 09

Reality v.s Whimsical. Stella brings in our favourite Disney characters into her advert to make us think twice about harming the enviornment and its wildlife when we purchase our fashion pieces.

I really adore how she manages to capture the cartoons so well with the real animals that feature in this advert, and still manages to make it look professional.

I love... Barbie Foot

French designer Chloe Ruchon has released her design for the Berlin design festival 09, 'BarbieFoot'.

I love how this design brings together both the male generics of football being predominantly a male sport, and the female generics of women most commonly being know about spending lots of time and money on their appearance, and generally appearing pink and beautiful.

I think it's great how Chloe has brought these two worlds together, to challenge everyday stereotypical views the world currently owns, and encourages both women and men to think differently.

More Topshop Treasures

I've foudn this gorgeous bag which i really MUST by immediatly!!! It's so very next season with its 'horror girl' influence of the black varnished outer steal and shimmers of deep pinks and purples!!

I also really want to buy a pair of comfortable pumps, but confused over what colour to buy, any help is very much appreciated!!

Black is perfect for matching with ANYTHING but i'm thinking the purple may just add that little bit more interest to an outfit compared to boring black. But i'm still undecided, please help!!

pepperpink.com

Vogue have picked up on them, Grazia have took note on them... Pepperpink is the hot, new place to purchase classic pieces of jewellery to stock up in layers, to envy any magpie out there. I'm especially fond of their rings collection they have to offer, as i'm a big fan of collecting rings of all styles, vintage, pearls, brass, ring watches... I must own at least 30 by now!
If anyone does spot any rings you think i may be interested in, please supply me with a link!! xxx
